What's new at APCO?

APCO has recently developed a tool that will bring new meaning to the word "convenience".

*This view shows the conveyor tool that APCO recently developed in use at a job site in Santa Rosa.  This tool can discharge asphalt from the right or left side.

**Specifications for this job would not allow asphalt trucks on the petrol mat.  APCO used it's conveyor attachment to feed the contractor's paving machine from the side of the construction area.

APCO has also used this tool for placing aggregate base behind guardrails and concrete barrier rails.

Equipment Development

APCO designs and builds its paving machines precisely for dike, shoulder and trench paving to assure quality, greater densities, high production and machine availability.  APCO machines are heavy production machines with electronically controlled hydraulics for finite and quick response to job situations.  High horsepower keeps asphalt supply trucks moving, even on steep inclines.

Pictured above (left) is the beginning of APCO's newest machine, the Saulsbury Road Widener #1046.  While construction is still in progress, many more man hours are left for completion.

Pictured above (right) is APCO's A/C and A/B shoulder machine capable of right or left side discharge, which simplifies unloading of A/C trucks with traffic direction.
